Behind many online attacks against women leaders are not real public voices but coordinated fake networks designed to silence, shame, and intimidate.
Female politicians, activists, and outspoken women in Sri Lanka are often targeted with misogynistic abuse, disinformation, and coordinated harassment simply for speaking up or making political decisions. These attacks do more than spread hate they create fear, stress, self-censorship, and push women out of public conversations.
When fake accounts become louder than real people, democracy and equal participation suffer.
Women should not have to choose between public leadership and personal safety online.

She says โGood stuffโ?
They talk about colours โworking withโ her complexion?
Mary swears?
And what are those calisthenic exercises Mary and her suitors engage in, in the gardens?
