This video perfectly captures why India is a dysfunctional third world country where nothing works. People don't trust each other, they are constantly trying to "skip the line", there is no social trust, everything is approached with a with a zero sum attitude, there is no mentality about creating "win-win" situations, it's a dog eat dog society. We all know that by cooperating and looking out for each other and genuinely following some basic discipline and rules, our country can be a 100 times better yet no one does it.
Our business class is just merchant class, our teachers are trainers and our leaders are feudal barons. Even if u clean this land with nuclear explosions it will still be producing slaves

Have you ever seen the reverse?
It was Hindu insecurity towards Muslims that caused Partition. Muslims were rightfully demanding equal political representation but Hindus denied them equal rights. Now they cry about Partition and blame Muslims for a failure they themselves helped create.
I can understand what Ashish is saying, but I have a solution as well: expose yourself to the world. I grew up in a hardcore Jain family. So much so that in my entire childhood we never visited those restaurants that were veg, non-veg, or both. Only “pure” veg restaurants. My entire friend circle was the same as well. We were used to making faces when that one family in the colony used to cook meat.
But when I stepped outside the chamber I realised the world is different and vast outside and people know how to live without making faces at others' food choices. The first thing I immediately did was to drop “pure” from my vegetarian choice. Later on, I married my girlfriend who is a pure Punjabi non-vegetarian since childhood. Though to date I have never tasted chicken or meat, in our nuclear family she cooks / order whenever she wants to and our kid eats paneer with me and chicken with her whenever he wants to. I mean we don’t even discuss this ever. Jisko jo khana hai khao bus protein poora kar lo roz ka
