Die hard ASU and College Football Fan. Washed up College WR. Reformed HS coach, USC and AZ Cardinals Staffer. Cronkite '97 and Perry Sports play by play man
@ASU_SuperFan Offensive and defensive line are the hardest to know if they’ll pan out from HS, but they are the cheapest to get and the easiest way to win consistently
@DP212121212121@rdeol7280@azsportsfien No narrative. Just what happened while we were in the NFC east. 1998/2000-2004. I was at USC in 1999. We left Thursday morning when we played Hawaii on Saturday night.
@5cuba5teve1@DP212121212121@Rjb5150@azsportsfien I was with the Cards in ‘98 and 2000-05. They were in the NFC East. Washington, Philly, and NY weren’t short trips and Covid was decades away. 😂
@MrClean513@LukeLendler@SunDevilSource I was at Baylor and left after ASU’s first drive of the 3rd quarter. That’s when the exits got busy. Baylor went right down the field to start the 3rd and ASU had zero response. No point in riding that out.
@davidubben@DavidSmoak Played against him his “freshman” year at Pierce. Drilled me after I caught a curl. Immediately thought “this dude’s a freshman?”
@ASUFootball I’ve been to everything that’s listed after 1995. Some crazy loud games. Nothing since the stadium shrunk can touch when there was 74k capacity. I tend to lean night games being louder than day games too. Nebraska, Wazzu, Mizzou, Iowa,
@BrianLRoach@ASUFootball@JediASU That was bonkers! I was in Tucson that weekend with @TobyTucson for a flag tournament. Drove up to watch the game and went back down Sunday for the championships. Glad I made the drive back up!
@JoeHealey42 My buddy, Tom Malone, was the punter on this. He’s actually a great athlete. Richardson made him look very non athletic on this. I thought we were going to roll them based on that first half.
@espnW@MGardnerSports The 7th by the Devils showed how much they’re willing to battle for a W. Ulrich’s double was pure want to. She was dead to rights and somehow parted the sea to slip in safely. ALL the momentum swung to ASU after that remarkable effort.
@wilnerhotline That 1995 Nebraska team was next level. The national championship got so out of hand that hard core Nebraska fans were leaving at halftime to hit the Tempe bars.
@JoeHealey42 After ASU scored to go ahead in the ‘97 rose bowl some dudes from Boise busted out a whole bottle of Bacardi and a couple of shot glasses. So…….yeah 30 mins didn’t really work. Numb for about a week.
@BDenny29@chrisjenksSSD Imagine a world before social media when scrubs could only spread this stuff to people at their local bar. Damn! I miss those days.
@AZSportsHistory Andre held out until week 1 of the season. Old man Bidwell announced on the plane flight to Dallas that he had been signed. Met the team at the hotel and played some snaps. Maybe that’s why he got injured?
@AZSportsHistory Worked for the cards when we had Boston. Physical specimen who took having a body builder’s physique, and all the trappings that come with it, way too seriously. Watched him dominate many times in his first few seasons before he started physically breaking down.
