We are living through new times, our bodies were not trained or equipped with pandemic response mechanisms. Now is the time to sit with ourselves and explore, what does my body need right now?

In a patriarchy-free world, we can build a free and safe society where everyone values, respects and supports one another. Incidence of gender-based violence is reduced and we can all have equal chances at a better life, regardless of our gender. #PreventVAW#EndGBV
One of the best ways to end violence against women and girls is to prevent it from happening in the first place by addressing its root and structural causes. This comes about by investing in transforming negative attitudes, beliefs, and norms about gender equality.
#PreventGBV
It is very easy for pregnant girls to give up on school if not supported. We all have a responsibility to act in our big and or small ways.

#VAW is not a women's issue only. In any society where Violence Against Women is prevalent, the consequences affect everybody. We must do our individual bit and work together to change the norms that encourage violence against women.
#PreventGBV#EndVAW
We need to stop telling women and girls to endure violence because it's "part of life". There is nothing normal about violence. Women and girls should not have to spend their whole lives negotiating their safety. They are entitled to safety. It is a right, not a privilege.
Social change must be community led, not externally driven. Community members are far more compelling change makers than NGOs. NGOs must support, mentor and trust community members to lead the change. #preventgbv#preventvac@RV_VAC@WARBotswana@CEDOVIPuganda
Patriarchy functions to keep women and girls silent about violence. Violence is not normal and no one should have to endure it. We must challenge and change cultural norms that manipulate women and girls into keeping quiet about abuse. #StopViolenceAgainstWomen#PreventGBV
