I’m sick of this “me-centered” worship culture. Church isn’t a concert. Worship isn’t about my feelings, my blessings, or what God can do for me. Worship is about giving Him the praise, honor, reverence, and awe He alone deserves.

It’s time we return to worship that exalts God for who He is, holy, mighty, sovereign, and worthy. Worship is not about exalting our pride, our emotions, or our narcissism.

Let’s stop treating the King of Kings like a spiritual vending machine and start giving Him the gratitude and thanksgiving He is owed.
