@BumpFruck@denimneverdies The only reason we "have to tolerate their intolerance" is because we choose to be that way, though, and I don't understand the benefit. If somebody has the "belief" that all of X race should die, I don't think we should be forced to wait until they act to stop tolerating them?
@BumpFruck@denimneverdies I certainly do. Why should anybody accept or respect beliefs that cause harm?
For example, in specific muslim locations, being gay can get you killed
Should we respect their beliefs?
@mohamed_an21370@SackBloals@shellyous Yes, you are hitting their hands. They are afraid of having their hands hit, so they pray. You are coercing them, they are not choosing to pray, they are afraid *not* praying.
@R1ZZLY_B3AR@divioniix@LASHYBILLS It has nothing to do with being in shape π you're sitting packed in like a can of sardines
And like I said, even if you get out of the way... good luck to the schmuck behind you I guess
@R1ZZLY_B3AR@divioniix@LASHYBILLS The ball looks like the size of a mosquito at a distance and it's moving faster than most people can even respond to danger π but yeah she'd just dodge it and let somebody else take the hit
@AlexPollitoEmo@ChristianityOn I imagine this has to be related to our struggles with eye contact during conversation. At least for me. It's like.. you can hear and respond to me just fine without looking at me, yknow? It feels like, "what do you want?"
@ChristianityOn@epballou Well, for one, it doesn't require that you're in a "social" situation at all.
When your friend/wife/parent/child is in the room, and you can't get yourself to do anything productive because they are *there*.
That isn't the same as, "talking to people makes me anxious."
@IrenicCounselor@ChristianityOn@metu90585769583 Strongly disagree, NT folks aren't self-conscious enough. If the majority of the planet were autistic, we would be a more self-aware society. That's good.
@neopetta@BriskittyThe3rd@ArchysLife Doesn't prevent parents from using the concept of "parents rights" as their excuse for why they should be allowed to make these abusive decisions.
It gives them an out, even if that wasn't the original point
