It’s a classic, great for its time, but it’s not as impressive cause he ain’t write that shit lol. Illmatic started the conversation of classics, no comparison
@DevonDude_ That’s a fair assessment. The WCW storylines are all over the place. Whereas Raw is fairly consistent. That’s why they ultimately won. Nitro is better as a one off most weeks but Raw gives you more reasons to stay invested long term.
The comedy in both companies has not aged well but if you want to watch a specific angle/storyline/title run, it’s much easier to follow in WWF. WCW was prob great to watch in real time because you could miss weeks and not miss anything of an angle
Disagree, attitude era WWF at least had a format and pacing (ex.match, promo, segment, repeat). WCW had more stars on paper but Nitro was just all over the place. Easier to follow feuds (and skip the BS)
In terms of show quality WCW & WWF are a lot closer than people would lead you to believe. WWF has Austin & Rock. That’s why they are ahead in the ratings. But other than their stuff WWF is borderline unwatchable at times. The worst thing on Nitro will be a boring match
