Perhaps start using the deaf therapists/ counsellors trained to work with depression & anxiety via different modalities & who are out of work. The NHS waiting list for #IAPT#NHSTalkingTherapies for deaf people are getting increasingly worryingly longer.
My general advice for life:
1.What are you feeling?

3.Ask for it/work for it/go for it.
There! I’ve saved you a fortune in therapy.
Fantastic to hear updates from across the region at the NHS FND South West Professions Network meeting today. Heard from the excellent @FNDFrieNDsUK & many great colleagues working on new care pathways & initiatives to improve support for FND 🙌 Much yet to do but moving forwards

Lovely supplement with your real hard copy of The Observer today. One of the best things you can do for your well-being is get interested in something (other than yourself) and pursue it. This supplement is full of fine examples and it’s NOT about getting fit or losing weight
Materialistic values cannot give us peace of mind. So we really need to focus on our inner values, our true humanity. Only this way can we have peace of mind—and more peace in our world.
@Philippa_Perry Thanks for sharing these

Found them soothing and grounding.
Great to see @bbcstrictly production team learning sign language and undertaking specialised training in preparation for welcoming BSL user and actress @RoseAylingEllis to the show. 💃🏽

This BBC report echos our own research which shows that the pandemic has disproportionately affected deaf people and those with hearing loss or tinnitus. https://t.co/2SyrA5NKhF
