Lecture 1 — biggest takeaway:
If you can solve a problem without a distributed system… do it.
Because once you go distributed, you’re trading simplicity for power.
Yes, you get
1/ parallelism (faster systems)
2/ fault tolerance ie one part fails, the system still lives
3/ security isolation
4/ performance at scale
But the cost is real:
1/ concurrency bugs you can’t easily reproduce
2/ partial failures (some things work, some don’t)
3/ performance that’s hard to reason about
Distributed systems are a tradeoff you make when scale, reliability, or constraints demand it
If this AGI news is true…
a lot of things are about to get devalued. fast.
tools. coding. execution.
what becomes expensive?
human reasoning with execution.
with or without AGI, we’re already gradually stepping into that era.
Its time to think 🧠.
for real 💭.
AI is slowly killing the “flex” we’ve been used to.
“i built this”
“i use that”
“i know this framework”
That stuff is gradually getting devalued.
because soon everyone and their AI can build.
what will actually stand out now?
thinking. The power to think
how you approach problems
how you break things down
how you see what others don’t
We’re moving from:
builders → thinkers
coders → problem solvers
The real flex now is clarity of thought
because in a world where execution is cheap…
thinking becomes expensive.
F*ck… I’m ready for this. let’s go.
I did the math on AGI and the numbers are terrifying.
In 2022, researchers said 50% chance of human-level AI by 2059. By 2024 they moved it to 2047. By late 2025, people inside the labs were privately saying 2027.
The timeline moved up 30 years in 3 years.
> Then I followed the money. $410B spent on AI in 2025. $600B projected for 2026. You don't spend war money on a maybe.
> Then I followed the people. Elon, Altman, Amodei.. they've never agreed on anything, now they all say AGI by 2026-2027.
Leopold Aschenbrenner wrote a 165-page warning about AGI. Then raised a billion-dollar hedge fund betting on it.
The people building AGI aren't asking "when" anymore. They're asking "how do we tell 8 billion people their job description just became a suggestion."
You can now enable Claude to use your computer to complete tasks.
It opens your apps, navigates your browser, fills in spreadsheets—anything you'd do sitting at your desk.
Research preview in Claude Cowork and Claude Code, macOS only.
I’ve been thinking…
Real estate already runs on:
“Put money X → get % return in Y duration.”
So why isn’t there a clean, stock-like app where
1. anyone can invest
2. see a dashboard
3. watch it grow
Feels like an obvious win.
What am I missing?

It’s Monday again.
A fresh week. A fresh start. New opportunities waiting.
Another chance to learn. To improve. To become world-class at what you do.
Another chance to accept feedback, to unlearn what no longer serves you, and relearn what moves you forward.
Put yourself out there. Take the shot. Do the work.
The world is yours. You are here. Let’s get it. 🚀
@olanetsoft Again thank you 🙏 for the advice you gave me on the phone( WhatsApp) through Kay’s phone. that has really helped me scaled to becoming a top engineer
@juiceboy_of_abj Yh bro
If you don’t ask early, you end up guessing… even if your guesses are valid.
Every interviewer has a direction they’re probing for and the fastest way to hit it is to ask for context, then you can narrow your answer from there
I don’t know if it’s just me, but do they even make great movies anymore? 🤔
Almost every genre feels predictable now. Horror? You already know the “hotspots.” Action? Something bad happens, revenge arc, struggle… then they win.
It just doesn’t feel as creative as it used to.
Maybe it’s time the movie industry finds a way to actually accept ideas from the public. I’m sure people out there have some insanely creative concepts.
Just saying.
We’re launching a brand new, full-stack vibe coding experience in @GoogleAIStudio, made possible by integrations with the @Antigravity coding agent and @Firebase backends.
This unlocks:
— Full-stack multiplayer experiences: Create complex, multiplayer apps with fully-featured UIs and backends directly within AI Studio
— Connection to real-world services: Build applications that connect to live data sources, databases, or payment processors and the Antigravity agent will securely store your API credentials for you
— A smarter agent that works even when you don't: By maintaining a deeper understanding of your project structure and chat history, the agent can execute multi-step code edits from simpler prompts. It also remembers where you left off and completes your tasks while you’re away, so you can seamlessly resume your builds from anywhere
— Configuration of database connections and authentication flows: Add Firebase integration to provision Cloud Firestore for databases and Firebase authentication for secure sign-in
This demo displays what can be built in the new vibe coding experience in AI Studio. Geoseeker is a full-stack application that manages real-time multiplayer states, compass-based logic, and an external API integration with @GoogleMaps 🕹️
