@alexedicken Acting like Osman is the messiah. Yes he’s got a high ceiling but he is far from the finished article now. He had games like Preston where he was unplayable and then Leeds and stoke where he was very raw and rash. Putting all our eggs into this basket was stupidy personified.
@joshkro05@ToweringZigic He’s been poor this season so far. I hope it’s just a spell and it clicks with him again, still adapting to the English game etc… Right now he is nowhere near worth the money we paid for him.
@MikeJabBCFC You can be the best player in the world, if a player does not want to play for you and does not have the heart to play for you then naturally you are not going to perform. If Valencia wanted him that badly he would have gone there, not like we were holding him back.
@KRO187511@_tjh96 Ah yes bird who is made of fucking glass! Bristol city fans constantly saying how injury prone he is. We sign him and what happens, he gets fucking injured. Great signing…. For the treatment room
@em_hemming Would be a 5/10 normally, not addressing the gaping holes in the 10 position and midfield really frustrating. Even worse not getting rid of the the likes of fujimoto, wright, Ducksch and Buchanan downgrades it to a 3/10 at best!
@MrBrum43 Now 2 or 3 of those players pick up a knock which is inevitable in a 46 game season, then we are screwed. The problem isn’t so much the starting lineup it’s having depth. We saw last night from the subs, it’s going to be a long season I have no expectations now.
@TRMMY25 Not just on recruitment either. The late kit releases, no explanation as to why we ended the deal with undefeated, a disjointed pre season and a general lack of communication all summer. Havnt fixed the blatant gap in the 10 position it’s been diabolical really
@GarryNotGary Vasquez seems poor so far, Lund is unknown. Fry is a good addition, Bird can keep laird company on the treatment table, Beadle is ok, Millar good if he stays fit. No natural number 10 and only 3 cbs. Last 10 mins tonight proved a lack of depth. Mid table at best
@alexedicken And that is why people are rightfully pissed off with our summer recruitment. Game was there to be won but we had no one to bring on to change it
@mickyh01 No issue with the signing on its own, relatively low risk. The issue is that we have glaringly obvious gaps in the squad that we have not addressed all summer. Yet we are signing a backup striker who is unproven at this level. The timing of this one doesn’t sit right with me.
@ToweringZigic I feel like the 10 and LW are vital when we play at home this season. We need them in desperately and play stanno up top making runs in behind. I like the current setup away from home.
@RichardCox380@briandick Recruitment hasn’t helped but we were all happy last season when we signed most of those players. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Stansfield looked miles better in the championship when on loan under a different manager compared to whatever he has become under Davies.
@MarcusHunt55108@almajir Losing by 2 or 3 goals and conceding 6 without ever looking like some anything and being completely dominated are NOT same thing! it’s not irrelevant, it’s pretty damning tbh and the writing is very much on the wall
