If you had to name your single most predictable trading failure mode which is that the thing you do under the same conditions, every time
what is it?
Naming it is step one.
> I’m undisciplined is a dead end. There’s nowhere to go from it.
> My behavior has a predictable pattern is a door. Because Patterns can be found, named and watched for.
Same situation just a completely different future.
Gm traders
Before the first trade today, one honest question:
what is the rule you’re most likely to break by 2pm?
Name it now. Naming it is how you catch it.
@Deztravels44979 Well I reflect on myself on weekends
Note the mistakes I made and how I can stop making them
Studying also is good
When do you reflect?
GM Traders
Market’s closed. Good.
The best traders use the weekend to get honest with themselves; not about P&L, but about patterns.
What did you notice about yourself this week?
Make this week about working on it!
My worst moments as a trader were never about being wrong on a chart.
Being wrong is normal. It was what I did after the loss that cost me.
The next trade I was already in before I could stop myself. Watching myself break my own rules in real time and being unable to stop.
Just a honest question for y’all
What trading tool do you wish existed but doesn’t?
Not another journal. Not another dashboard. The thing that’s actually missing.
If you could build it, what will it be?
Just curious to know
G’night
You can have a great month for entirely lucky reasons and learn nothing.
You can have a bad month and never see the pattern that caused it.
What I am trying to say is that the score tells you what happened. Only behavior tells you why it actually happened

Every trading tool I used tracked the same thing: Wins. Losses. P&L.
But none of them tracked the behavior behind the score.
The hesitation.
The revenge trades.
The times I ignored my own rules.
Looking back, those behaviors cost me far more than any single bad trade ever did.

After I blew my account one too many times, I stopped asking “why am I so bad at this?”
I’m an engineer. So I asked a different question instead: where does this system fail, and why there?
That one question changed everything for me

I started trading thinking it was just about making money, like all those “successful” traders online.
Then losses came and every trader knows they hit harder than you can imagine.
It stopped being about profit and became about learning to sit with myself when things go wrong.
I blew my own trading account. More than once. Until I told myself: fix the psychology, or stop trading.
This week, the whole story
So no charts, no trades, just the truth.
So come along on this ride
Day 1: BUILD SERIES
I have blown a trading account.
I have also built the kind of systems designed so data can never be lost.
Trader and engineer. Two worlds that don’t usually mix.
This week I’m telling the whole story:
how they collided into the thing I’m building now.
