@gnomeicide And I think HDCP doesn't actually prevent you copying the media, it just prevents you from doing so at the original HD quality, which in itself is a bit weird🤔

@gnomeicide Might be to do with HDCP If it's a standard HDMI-VGA connector. VGA is Analog so may have issue with digital data protection.

@gnomeicide Yeasss, Digital signal has copy protection but the Analog VGA cannot verify at the other end, so you get no picture or sound. Can get adaptors with HDCP chips built-in but I'm not sure of the price tag.
