Over the weekend, CBP Officers throughout the El Paso Field Office intercepted six individuals at the border with active warrants for their arrest. These fugitives were wanted for serious offenses, including dangerous drugs, money laundering, and other criminal offenses.

In January 2026, officers at ports throughout the El Paso Field Office seized nearly 1,000 pounds of narcotics—valued at over $40 million—delivering a direct hit to transnational criminal organizations. Smuggling stops here!

A body carrier attempting to smuggle 5.7 pounds of methamphetamine worth $61,000 into the United States at the Paso Del Norte border crossing was intercepted on January 30th. Officers discovered five wrapped packages of the narcotic taped to the individual’s body.

Protecting our communities and our nation! On January 27th at the Bridge of the Americas, Officers intercepted 15 bundles of cocaine concealed in a vehicle. Final weight was 39 lbs. with an estimated value of $136,000!
