Quality weekend from the 2-way @WhitecapBseball recruit. Did a little bit of everything well. Solid BP & approach at the plate in game. 2 innings on the mound, where he pounded the zone and was up to 89+. Ballplayer that helps the team in a lot of ways 👍.

Chaix showed a well rounded tool set over the weekend. Plus runner with range in the OF with arm strength present. Barreled the baseball consistently in BP and had a loud out in game as well. @PB_Uncommitted

Projectable RHP with a quick arm and clean path. Works aggressively down the mound. Struck out 4 hitters over 2 IP, working ahead and getting whiffs in the zone. Landed a blended breaking ball for strikes & swings. Upside. @PB_Uncommitted

The physical 2-way has impressed so far this weekend. Steady defender with the ability to impact the baseball. Challenged hitters & was efficient in his 2 IP. SL was his go to out pitch in this look. Intriguing player👍. @ShooterHunt

Strong inning of work from Pirates Scout Team's David Ellington (@dxvid_e42) on the bump. The LHP picks up a strikeout and produces the double play to end the inning.
