@ClayTravis At that point it is definitely no longer the college sports that we know today. It is a separate professional league for athletes to potentially get an education while playing. Sad what money and greed can do to sports.
@ClayTravis It is headed to either one big โsuper conferenceโ for the colleges with the most money or 3-4 conferences those schools make up. The remaining schools will become like a minor league farm system for the โmajorโ schools.
@ClayTravis Maybe Jacksonville State University and Troy University become โalignedโ with Auburn University or Alabama, who support those schools financially to develop freshman athletes for the next step to โmajorโ programs.
@AlecEtheredgeSC From park ball to college sports, none of it is about the kids any more. It is about power, money, or both. Those are the driving factors in most sports related decisions now. In most larger cities, travel ball has destroyed park ball. For what? Trying to โget ahead?โ
