@DeadJosey I think ultimately this is not going to go anywhere because there's a lot of customers that don't want self-checkout and would rather have a cashier do it, and also all the theft! Lol Not to mention these systems may very well cost more than just paying cashiers.

@DeadJosey It's very strange the back and forth that keeps happening with this - they want to expand on automation/ self-service for customer checkout, but at the same time they want to cut back on it because it leads to increases in theft 🤷‍♀️
