The BOIOA Pune Unit celebrated International Women's Day with great enthusiasm through various activities, including Cricket, Carrom, Chess, and Badminton Tournaments, along with a Health Check-up Camp for comrades in the Ratnagiri Zone.

Additionally, as part of our annual tradition, a delightful one-day trip to Resort Shantivan was organized for our lady comrades from the Pune Zone, where they enjoyed a day filled with fun, relaxation, and camaraderie.

The event witnessed an overwhelming response, making it a grand success!

The tournaments showcased intense matches, outstanding performances, and a remarkable spirit of sportsmanship. The inauguration ceremony was graced by our esteemed dignitaries, including the Zonal Manager – Ratnagiri, General Secretary of Pune Unit, President, Vice Presidents, DGS, ECMs from Ratnagiri and Solapur Zones, and the Deputy Zonal Manager.

In March 2024, the IBA and bank unions signed the 9th Joint Note, which highlighted the plans to switch to a 5-day work week. 

However, as of January 20, 2025, the central government has not yet approved the proposal.
