TXF: "Dhaman" and Trafigura Deal Among the Perfect 10 Commodity Finance Deals of 2025

TXF's Perfect 10 Commodity Finance Deals of the Year 2025 have been revealed, including a maiden deal between Dhaman and a commodity trader, supporting a bank financing with a total value of approximately USD 100 million. The contracts were concluded with Standard Chartered (SC), as well as Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC), for the benefit of Trafigura, a leading global supplier of commodities, supporting both Arab-origin exports and the import of strategic commodities into the region.

The monthly economic newsletter of "Dhaman" covered 144 countries, including 21 Arab countries, based on the #Political_Risk_Survey (#PRS) database.

The April 2026 issue of the newsletter focused on the performance of #Jordan, and its most important indicators were as follows:

أصدرت "ضمان" أصدرت نشرتها الفصلية الأولى لعام 2026 عن التصنيفات السيادية ومؤشرات المخاطر، والتي كشفت عن:

حرب إيران رفعت تقييم الوكالات العالمية للمخاطر السياسية في المنطقة خلال مارس 2026.

التصنيفات السيادية لدول الخليج لم تتأثر كثيراً لأنها تتمتع بهامش كافٍ لتحمل التوترات السياسية.

عام 2025 شهد تحسناً نسبياً لوضع الدول العربية في مؤشرات المخاطر والتصنيفات السيادية.

8 دول عربية فقط هي الإمارات وقطر والكويت والسعودية وسلطنة عمان والأردن والبحرين ومصر حظيت بتصنيف من قبل وكالات التصنيف الائتماني الأربع الرئيسية في العالم حتى نهاية 2025.
تحسن تصنيف السعودي�� وسلطنة عمان ومصر والمغرب وتونس بنهاية العام 2025 واستقرار التصنيف السيادي لـ 6 دول عربية في مقابل تراجع تصنيف البحرين.

استمرار استحواذ دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي ثم المغرب فالأردن ومصر على مقدمة الترتيب عربياً في أغلب التصنيفات السيادية والمؤشرات المتعلقة بالمخاطر بكل أنواعها.

تحسن وضع الدول العربية في مؤشر #كوفاس لمخاطر الدولة، بينما تراجع وضع الدول العربية بشكل طفيف في تصنيف كوفاس لتقييم مناخ الأعمال.

"Dhaman" Released its first quarterly bulletin for 2026 on sovereign ratings and risk indicators, which revealed:

Due to Iran war, global agencies raised the Arab region’s political risk ratings during March 2026.

Gulf countries’ sovereign ratings provide an adequate margin to withstand a short-term regional conflict that does not hit oil facilities and supplies.

In 2025, Arab countries’ ranking in risk and sovereign rating indicators advanced relatively despite sustained geopolitical tensions.

Only eight Arab countries: UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Jordan, Bahrain, and Egypt, were rated by the world’s four main credit rating agencies until 2025.

Saudi Arabia, Oman, Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia advanced, while six Arab countries remained unchanged in the sovereign rating. Bahrain declined.

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, Morocco, Jordan, and Egypt maintained the Arab lead in most sovereign ratings and risk indicators.

The average global ranking of Arab countries advanced in #Fitch's Country Risk Index, the #PRS Composite Country Risk Index, also the Country risk indicators issued by agencies: #Allianz Trade in both short and medium terms, #Atradius, #Dun & #Bradstreet, the (OECD), and Japan’s #NEXI.

The ranking of Arab countries also advanced in #Credendo’s business environment risk index at the end of 2025.
The status of Arab countries advanced in the #Coface Country Risk Index. while the position of Arab countries declined slightly in the Coface Business Climate Assessment index.

الدول العربية تستورد ثلث احتياجاتها من #الأغذية_والمشروبات بقيمة 139 مليار دولار

كشفت مؤسسة #ضمان_الاستثمار أن #مبيعات_الأغذية_والمشروبات غير الكحولية في المنطقة العربية تتجاوز 430 مليار دولار بنهاية عام 2025، لتمثل 4.2% من الإجمالي العالمي.

وذكرت المؤسسة في تقرير صادر عنها أن الدول العربية تستورد ثلث احتياجاتها من #الأغذية_والمشروبات بقيمة 139 مليار دولار، نحو 12% منها تأتي من البرازيل.

وأوضحت أن #قطاع_الأغذية_والمشروبات نجح في استقطاب نحو 22 مليار دولار استثمارات أجنبية خلال 22 عاما، منها 18% جاءت من الولايات المتحدة.

كما أكد التقرير أن الإمارات والسعو��ية ومصر وقطر تتصدر المقدمة عربيا كأكثر الدول جاذبية للاستثمار في القطاع تليها كل من سلطنة عمان والبحرين والجزائر والمغرب والكويت على التوالي.
