1000 years ago, there lived a learned and devout Brahman named Prahasa. He built temples and excavated tanks for welfare of poor.
When the king Jayapala of Assam offered to gift him 900 gold coins equal to his weight (amounting to about 60 crores today) and a huge grant of land, he REFUSED. Because an austere Brahman like him had no greed. Such were great Brahmans of past.
And here we have trolls calling Brahmans beggars, bhikmangu and what not!
14 Hindus were burnt alive in a mill very near to Sambhal’s disputed mosque in 1978
Rumours of a Hindu killing an imam and a sadhu performing puja there triggered this massacre
I spoke to the family of the mill owner, who was also killed
A thread on this forgotten tragedy 🧵
Son of the Pujari of Balaji Dham allegedly killed by a Dalit teacher in Shahjanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Devkinandan Mishra was talking to a Dalit girl for which he was killed by the teacher at his home. Minor boy was studying in class 11. No media will show this. No action by police.
Look at Manish Kashyap's eyes, feel sad for him. The torture Bihar government is giving him is as if he is a Murderer or Rapist. Guys we need to support him on his bad times.
