Today is Holocaust Memorial Day.

Pray with us using this prayer from the Council of Christians and Jews, as we reflect and remember those impacted by the Holocaust and genocides around the world.

#OnThisDay in 1945, Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi concentration and death camp, was liberated.

Approximately 1.1 million men, women and children were murdered there, and over 90% of them were Jewish.

Today we commemorate #HolocaustMemorialDay on this anniversary.

Reverend Platt (@DHChapel) has shared her favourite poem for #NationalPoetryDay. It is 'Everyone Sang' by Siegfried Sassoon @PoetryDayUK 📚It speaks to her of "hope, unity, joy and healing". She learnt it as a teenager and remembers it to this day!
