The demand for a 5 Day Work Week in banks is not new. It already stands agreed upon in the Bipartite Settlement of March 2024. What remains is its long-pending implementation.

At the same time, the unilateral and discriminatory PLI system must be abolished and replaced with a fair, transparent and inclusive framework for all employees, recognising the collective effort behind every institution’s performance.

Hardworking bank employees are not asking for privilege. They are asking for implementation of an agreement and equality in reward.

A motivated banking workforce strengthens Indian banking and the nation.

When the world is moving to a 4-day week, and banking is already 24x7 in the digital era, bankers asking for a 5-day week isn’t a luxury. It’s justice.

IBA has agreed. The understanding is signed.
Now the Government must honour its commitment – no more excuses, no more delays.

Respect the Settlement. Deliver it.

PNR-6822661482 Train no-13420 3 women are travelling to bhagalpur.Train is not moving for more than 2:30 hrs.
They have to catch link train of Rampurhat at 7:55 a.m train n-13016(PNR-6460374339).

It's high time that railway department stop treating daily going passengers like cockroaches & install some empathy in them so that from next time onwards all these customers do not have face harrassment in more for callassness of railway staffs.

by almost 30 minutes which left many daily passenger who was about to catch 63529 left stranded.
There is not a point of empathy with railway staffs left that they hold the train number 63529 for 5-10 minutes which would have enabled the hundreds of passengers from suffering.
