@Roops_0207 So TARP by itself is not going to do any on ground activity. People can put up Cows, Goats, snakes, whatever up for adoption, rescue, mark them as lost. No holds barred.
A few weeks ago, I shared my vision for TARP – The Animal Rescue Project.
Today, the first beta is live: https://t.co/35Jm50F8lB
It's still early, rough around the edges, and far from where I want it to be.
Which is why I'd love your honest feedback.
What works? What could be better? And What's missing?
I'm building this in public and would love the community's help in shaping it.
Drop your thoughts below 👇 and follow along as we build something truly impactful for animals and pet owners across India.
TARP, The Animal Rescue Project, has mostly existed quietly in the background supporting other animal NGOs.
Time to change that.
I want to build India’s ultimate animal care platform:
• Find lost pets
• Help adoptions
• host honest vet/shelter/product reviews
• Identify and support shelters that are genuinely doing good work
The animal rescue space is incredibly fragmented right now. What’s broken? What frustrates you most?
Help me build this to serve as many animals as possible. Im boosting this tweet heavily because I need YOUR ideas and suggestions.
Following along here, I’ll be building this in public, posting progress, wins, failures, and what I learn from people in the space.
Today, we share a breakthrough on the planar unit distance problem, a famous open question first posed by Paul Erdős in 1946.
For nearly 80 years, mathematicians believed the best possible solutions looked roughly like square grids.
An OpenAI model has now disproved that belief, discovering an entirely new family of constructions that performs better.
This marks the first time AI has autonomously solved a prominent open problem central to a field of mathematics.
CBSE is winning largely cause parents started optimising for JEE/NEET/UPSC pathways, but a good ICSE education is still hard to beat for depth, english, communication skills & overall development. I might be a little biased but schools like NHPS still consistently produce phenomenal national ICSE results year over year.
@striver_79 The completion date is by the end of this year. Hopefully this planned white topping, if it even needs to be done, starts only after the metro is fictional otherwise my daily commute is probably going to shoot up to 3 hours from 1 hour
@sridhar001 What are you on dude? Pigs and elephants are not animals you can keep in the house. Legally. And I don’t believe in keeping birds caged at home so I’m not going to make that option.
@ItsCauvery Not planning on opening shelters, this is purely an online platform. The goal is to help people find lost pets, connect with trusted shelters/vets, adopt animals, and make the rescue ecosystem easier to navigate. I dont really know how you got zoo from the post.
What a killer turnout yesterday for the New Horizon Unity Run! More than 6000 people showed up and almost everybody managed to finish the run they signed up for. This was supposed to be a one off run, but because of the great response we’ve decided to make this a yearly tradition! Next year 10,000+ people for sure.
I’m so sick of these Yulu bikes on Bangalore roads. Every single day it’s the same nonsense. No helmets. No lane discipline. Randomly cutting through gaps, swerving across traffic, riding in the middle of the road at snail speed making everyone else brake around them. They don’t care about their own safety let alone someone else’s.
Our roads are already chaotic enough. This Yulu nonsense is making it 10x worse.
BAN them!
