@Oregonian Oregon will not have prosperity until they have tax cuts. Until attract business and keep the ones we currently have, you won’t have money for education. We need new leadership in the state.
@Edan_Krolewicz@dwightjaynes No tenant signs up for a 20 year lease without negotiating improvements. If you lose the Blazers there are no other equal tenants and it will be come a waste land. Why isn’t everyone saying the Fire owners should chip in $100 million? Because they folded before.
@Oregonian The lack of leadership in Portland has hurt Oregon’s reputation sadly. Oregon is one of the most beautiful places there is. Do people know we have Bandon Dunes voted the greatest golf resort in the world? People travel from all over the world to go to it as one example.
@Edan_Krolewicz@biggn_tour@dwightjaynes@Mrbob_dobolina The MODA center provides $650 million of economic impact to the area. What other public investment returns to that type of economic activity? Plus the entertainment value. Why do we build parks if they provide no economic value?
@dwightjaynes Losing Blazers would devastate our region. For perspective. Reconstruction of Cleveland high school will be 500 million. The city of Portland, Multnomah County and Metro have a $14 billion budget a year. This is a small cost. Hopefully the communist wing doesn’t blow it.
@BlazersLead Every blazer fan needs to get on there and take that survey. We cannot lose this team!!! It’s too critical to our economy. And it’s the one thing that brings our community together.
@dwightjaynes It has a $650 million per year impact on our economy and employees over 4000 people. I urge every blazer fan to get on there and take the survey.
@dwightjaynes I believe that deal is getting done. There are a few extreme crazies on that council, but I believe they will get it through. I spoke to a very specific person of authority on it last week directly in person and they said the deal will get done.
Heavenly Father,
We pray for those who are struggling with poverty, hunger, and hardship. Provide them with daily bread, shelter, strength, and hope. Open doors of opportunity, surround them with caring people, and meet their needs according to Your love and mercy.
Comfort the brokenhearted, protect the vulnerable, and bless those who work to help others. Teach us to be generous and compassionate, sharing Your love with those in need.
In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏❤️
@nickdaschel Typical response. If you wanna go out of business like the Oregonian has, let’s turn off your potential customers with ridiculous negativity. Nice business plan. Lol.
@nickdaschel I have to wonder how all of the sports writers who came from the Oregonian are so negative. Has to be the most negative group in the country by far. We could use a good old fashion George Pasero again.
@dwightjaynes PDX has ownership lined up in Portland and 800 million for a stadium. What does Sacramento have that is better? It cost a lot more money to build in California. So what’s the apples to apples comparison about what they’re getting over PDX?
