"For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven." Ecclesiastes 3:1
After much prayer and reflection, I believe the Lord is leading me into a new season.
It's time to change seasons, not necessarily truth or convictions.

@Soaringeagle45 As itโs over 100 degrees in southeast New Mexico, we have to put the AC on 75-76 during the day because it wonโt keep up in this oppressive heat. At night, we drop it to 68.
@rabbriansamuel I lean toward a post-tribulation rapture, but I describe my end-times theology as Pan-millennial: it will all pan out in the end ๐
Jesus is coming back. We need to be watchful, ready, and working.
"Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth." John 17:17
The Holy Spirit uses God's Word -- the Bible -- as the primary instrument for spiritual growth for Believers.
Believers cannot become more like Christ (sanctification) without knowing AND obeying Scripture.
@Rix6145 I spent time with my family, including our 2.5-year-old grandson, who usually stays over Friday night into Saturday. Resting and getting ready for worship tomorrow. God Bless.
What are you doing tomorrow?
What if tomorrow were the day you finally took that step?
Find a Christ-centered, Bible-believing church that preaches & teaches the Gospel โ and go.
See you Sunday. ๐
โEither itโs the gospel of grace or itโs not the gospel at all.โ โ David Jeremiah
We will never be good enough to earn Godโs favor or forgiveness.
Thatโs the wonder of the gospel:
While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
We donโt earn salvation. We receive it by grace through faith.
Have you received Godโs gift of grace? If not, turn to Christ and receive it by faith today.
@Grilling_Pete First two seasons (especially season 1) were very good. I hung with season 3, even though the liberal ideology was seeping through more.
Iโm not even going to attempt season 4. I want to be entertained, not lectured to.
@StevenErtelt Can they? Yes. I don't think there are any specific prohibitions against alcohol consumption.
Should they? That depends. There may be circumstances where wisdom or a Believer's conscience dictates that abstention is best (not anyone else dictating it).
@miles_commodore Rarely. Only when I need cash for something specific or if someone has given me cash and I happen to have it in my wallet. Otherwise, no.
@miles_commodore As a kid in the 1970s, I found it hard to beat Sanford & Son or Good Times. But, I have a special fondness for Raj, Dwayne, and Rerun on "What's Happening."
A week ago, my son and daughter-in-law's van wouldn't start. We replaced the battery.
This morning...it wouldn't start again.
No click. No sound. Nothing.
I was convinced something major had failed.
Before calling a tow truck, I checked the battery one more time.
The positive terminal was just slightly loose.
I tightened it with my fingers.
The doors locked.
The van started immediately.
Such a small thing. Such a big difference.
It reminded me of Jesus' words:
"Apart from Me you can do nothing." โ John 15:5
A loose connection can keep a battery from delivering power.
And a life that isn't abiding in Christ won't bear spiritual fruit.
How's your connection with Jesus today?
@LifeNewsHQ I believe every person, from the moment of conception, is created by God and bears His image. As such, to take the life of an unborn child is to murder a precious life that God created. God calls that evil.
