Our pre-school children are observing caterpillars as they transform to butterflies in their classroom. We can't believe how much the caterpillars have grown in just a short time!
Year 3 absolutely loved having a go at presenting a weather forecast! The lesson formed part of their geography work and helped them to develop lots of other useful skills too.

On Monday Derby High Primary will have a theatre group performing in assembly to promote the ‘Furthest from the Sea Festival’ which will be in Derby Market Place (Sat 15th June 11am-4pm). There is also an art competition to enter if the children have some spare time this weekend.
Year 1 loved their trip to Tamworth Castle in support of their Knights & Castles topic yesterday! The children were extremely enthusiastic when they met the sword master, who taught them about taking care of armour & how to strike high and strike low with a bill hook in battle!
