Thank you to astronomers Zee and Sanj from Immersive Experiences @360xperiences who brought their mobile planetarium to Devonshire House. Year 5 were treated to a tour of our #SolarSystem and explored the planets, stars & constellations of the night sky. #STEM#Astronomy#Wonder
Year 5's trip to @Sandownpark Racecourse was a day of measuring, weighing, converting between metric and imperial units and watching horses thundering by! The trip a fun hands-on way to explore #measurement in the real world. #maths
What a brilliant turnout we had for #JeansforGenes Day! Pupils and staff wore their denim with pride 👖💙 and raised over £600 to help fund research and support for children with genetic conditions. Thank you to everyone who joined in and donated so generously. 🙏
Huge thanks to our wonderful PTA for organising such a fantastic BBQ & Fun Day. A really enjoyable event and a lovely way to welcome new families to the school. Special shout out to Mr KE and Mr Pitcher for being good sports and allowing themselves to be pelted with wet sponges!
In advance of the first Devonshire House #openmorning of the new school year, we invited pupils to choose their favourite of two #cake options to be served on the day. It was close but the winner - by a sticky, cakey whisker! - was the Pear and Ginger cake. @AccentCatering 🍰
Our Head, Henry Keighley-Elstub, went to visit the #Nursery Acorns children and they made him feel so welcome. It was Henry's first time meeting many of the children, and he was a bit nervous. But Henry was very brave and at the end of his visit said he had had the best time!
The Lower School hosted music taster session today where some of our talented Year 4 instrumentalists introduced Year 1 children to the #violin and the #piano. It was lovely to see the older children engaging so brilliantly with the younger ones - thank you Year 4! 🎻🎹#music
From #EAL learner to a place at #StPauls 👏
Anirudh joined us just 3 days after arriving in the UK. One year later, he’s heading to one of the UK’s top schools.
Resilience, great teaching & a love of learning made it happen.

Summer Term throwback... #Spanish-speaking nursery staff brought their #language and #culture to Nursery Acorns. Children joyfully sing Spanish songs, read Spanish books, danced to Spanish music and even donned #Flamenco dresses! Parents were invited to join in too! 🇪🇸
Summer Term throwback... The Year 1 & Year 2 sunflower growing challenge came to an exciting conclusion at the end of term. Year 1's sunflower was declared the winner, measuring a tremendous 1m 15cm, 7cm taller than Year 2's equally impressive effort! 🌻
Summer Term throwback... Well done to Year 3 #gymnasts who choreographed and performed their own routine for the Middle School during assembly. Great teamwork, creativity and dedication were all on show. Congratulations girls, you should be proud of what you achieved!👏 🤸♀️
