Believers Convention 2026

Why you should attend Believers Convention(times of refreshing)

This is a special meeting started 2004 but had been preceded since 1995 by a special meeting tagged " Rivers of Joy, seasons of refreshing "

It puts together teaching sessions to stir the believer into ministering the things of the spirit and be so ministered to as well.
It does this with strong emphasis on our identification with and in Christ, in ministering the spirit.

Taking a cue from Kenneth E Hagin, we have meetings, what he taught as Holy Ghost / Believers Meetings,
The Word taught and preached, given first place
The spirit given room for expression and demonstration. In this the believer is walking in the manifestation of the spirit, which he has already
Needs are ministered too by the cooperation of all believers present, and where the unbeliever comes in, he receives salvation.
We leave via the door of rejoicing.
This is the summary of what we expect and will see during these meetings.

There should be excitement in your heart

The joy of fellowship

The gladness to serve and give

The wealth and riches in His Word

Church is training ground for service and ministry

You are going to school

To learn and unlearn and re-learn

Jesus is Coming again

Infact,He’s coming soon

Our gathering becomes more imperative

The Hebrews writer says,we ought to provoke ourselves unto good works

Days are shortening, and purpose is getting more imminent

Be found in church today and early too!

Ensure you bring people to service

Read thru last week's notes

Pray for the service,particularly for Pastor

Give today,money and materials and don't forget to redeem your pledges

You have a Spirit filled service

In Church Today

Do a honest assessment of your walk and work in there

Scripture teaches that we judge ourselves first

Look around the service and church meeting

And examine your contributions in the local church

Firstly,How many people came to christ,the local church or that particular meeting through you

Secondly,what can you see around which has your contribution in it, whether materially or effort

Furthermore,what have you left undone in the church

Paul teaches the Local church like the human body,where every part supplies to the functioning of the whole body

Obviously a non functioning part which receives only but doesn't supply to any is a diseased part

Choose to stop being this part

Play your role and start today

Don't just feel bad about it then procrastinate again

Do it today!

Okay?

Don’t forget,your pastor needs more prayers than every other person,pray for him or her

Other ministers and servants in the local church too

Pray the pauline prayers for yourself

Are you ready for church?

Call up someone or pick up for church

Don't forget your offering, don't drop a "tip" in the service

Give qualitatively and Quantitatively

Any pledges to redeem and for children's church

Get in early,punctuality is spirituality

You sure will have a great service filled with the Spirit!

It's yet another sunday morning

It's time for sunday church meetings

The very essence of church meetings is building up the believer who in turn builds the church

We mustn't focus on being blessed alone and not on being a blessing

It's already two services this month

Can you review your activities in church

Any new member in church via your effort?
Any person attending the new converts /foundation school/membership classes through you?

Any increase in your giving?
Did you add anything substantially to your department?
Did you assist one with material needs?
Did you minister or prayed with any church member through this month?
Have you been attending church prayer meetings?
What about mid week services?or are you a sunday sunday member?

Do this review today and ensure you make adjustments.

Don't forget to take your church notes and call up or pick up invitees for today's service(ensure some one new attends today!)

Don't forget to pray for pastor and all ministering this morning and the pauline prayers for your self too!
