@nocturnedabi Then I love Halloween too !!

[𝔻𝕀𝔸 ─ ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ @DIAM0ND_IDOL]

@nocturnedabi Why is it your favorite?

[𝔻𝕀𝔸 ─ ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ @DIAM0ND_IDOL]

@TheMoons_Light jaw drops.

"oh wow. you are... quite powerful."

she stood and walked in the direction of the building.

"follow me. i'll need to introduce you to everyone. and you can meet Sensei. he's like... our guardian."

[𝔻𝕀𝔸 ─ ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ @DIAM0ND_IDOL]

@TheMoons_Light "we're only aggressive to our enemies, or to people who intend to hurt us. some of my brothers have been taken, shattered to bits and ground down. our lustrous bodies seem to fetch a high price."

[𝔻𝕀𝔸 ─ ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ @DIAM0ND_IDOL]

@TheMoons_Light "you're the second visitor who isn't completely hostile, so we'd appreciate the company. the first visitor was... ah, what was his name again? shinsou, or something? you remind me of him quite a bit, actually. but that was many many many years ago."

[𝔻𝕀𝔸 ─ ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ @DIAM0ND_IDOL]

@TheMoons_Light shrugs,

"well, feel free to explore. but there's only ocean and grassy fields as far as the eye can see. some sand, some hills, some mountains. a few creatures here and there.

my brothers and i reside over there,"

she gestured to a building in the distance.

[𝔻𝕀𝔸 ─ ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ @DIAM0ND_IDOL]

at the boutique, dia tried on all sorts of pretty dresses. cue montage.

a variety of different cuts and colors, and she asked for his opinion on each one.

after twirling in the fifth,

"and what do you think about this one?"

When she took his hand his eyes widened a bit , but he held hers.

“Yeah.. to the boutique..”

He said softly, following along and also making sure his disguise stayed in place.

@TheMoons_Light "me as well," the gem stated.

"and my brothers too. we can be slain, but we can't be killed. we've born witness to the fall of humanity that once fated this land."

she sat near him. not next to. just... near.

"how long do you plan to stay here, outlander?"

[𝔻𝕀𝔸 ─ ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ @DIAM0ND_IDOL]

@nocturnedabi the skin on her palms was burned through, revealing the iridescence of her true form. her action left patches, melted and slightly burned away.

[𝔻𝕀𝔸 ─ ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ @DIAM0ND_IDOL]

@nocturnedabi and she could tell he was showing it to her—his feelings.

"it's not a fantasy," she retorted, "but fine, i'll keep my distance."

not touching him, yet barely any distance was kept. the air surrounding them was warmer still.

[𝔻𝕀𝔸 ─ ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ @DIAM0ND_IDOL]

@TheMoons_Light "you've experienced a full life, yet you look so young..."

tilts head.

"wait, don't tell me you're..."

it's clicking.

[𝔻𝕀𝔸 ─ ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ @DIAM0ND_IDOL]

@nocturnedabi the gem's loft was nice. really nice. pristine surfaces. no clutter. interior design that enhanced the space.

"what sort of snack are you in the mood for?"

[𝔻𝕀𝔸 ─ ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ @DIAM0ND_IDOL]

Hello? Anyone out there ?

[𝔻𝕀𝔸 ─ ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ @DIAM0ND_IDOL]

@nocturnedabi "of course i'll stay. we'll figure it out, together."

then, she embraced him in a hug. arms around him, pulling tight.

[𝔻𝕀𝔸 ─ ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ @DIAM0ND_IDOL]

@nocturnedabi at least he's not pushing her away anymore.

"okay," she said simply.

the situation, their identities, the state of the world and its politics—it's all so complicated. there is no simple solution. but staying? dia can do that.

[𝔻𝕀𝔸 ─ ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ @DIAM0ND_IDOL]

@TheMoons_Light "you say you've come here out of boredom? you're the first to have such a casual reason. most outlanders come to slay us and take our resources, use our bodies for commodity, that sort of thing.

what has you so bored?"
