Diogo Jota's wife, Rute Cardoso, has written a letter to Scotland captain Andy Robertson ahead of the World Cup.
She thanks Robertson for his friendship, and for preserving Diogo's memory. Robertson adds he'll have Jota at the forefront of his mind.🙏
Keir Starmer informing parliament that anyone who pushes a wheelie bin towards the police will “feel the full force of the law”
But putting a police officer in hospital is perfectly fine.
🚨"HENRY TOLD OFFICERS HE COULD NOT BREATHE NINE TIMES"
LISTEN TO THE WORDS OF HENRY NOWAK'S FATHER
"The contrast is unbearable"
The police DID NOT even put Vickram Digwa in handcuffs
They treated Henry Nowak like a criminal
They treated his murderer like a victim
Disgusting
Imagine watching this and being unable to decide if these vile, out of control thugs assaulted a police officer...
It doesn't make any sense.
Our two-tier justice system is utterly broken.
@SkySportsNews Couldn’t see a mass pitch invasion right in front of his very eyes, but did see a 100% definite handball from 40 or so yards away against Motherwell earlier in the week. I smell bullshit, Martin. Get ya self to Specsavers to sort ya bins out as you are embarrassing yaself, man!
🚨Matt Goodwin crushes it here — defends Unite the Kingdom rally marchers saying millions are fed up with Keir Starmer and the political class pushing Britain to the edge.
People have had enough of the state’s failures.
Patriots taking a stand.
With the Football League Play-Offs in full swing (never been a great lover of them), here is action from the very first Second Division Play-Off final in 1987, when the format was totally different.
The 4th-bottom team in the First Division would play the team that finished 3rd in Division Two, with the other semi-final being between the teams that finished 4th and 5th in Division Two.
So Charlton beat Ipswich over two legs, and Leeds United beat Oldham over two legs.
And in the final, (no Wembley) Charlton beat Leeds United in a Replay at St Andrews after both home teams won 1-0.
