I was working in SE, precisely in Owerri when Peter OBI was the governor. My family lived in Onisha for more than 20 years. He did nothing substantial, apart from the divisive style of governance that he was known for.

I’m still shocked to my bones with this messianic title that the Obidients have conferred on a man that performed poorly within 8 years of governance.

If a man fails primary one, do you promote him to primary six? Won’t you ask him to repeat the class?

Having Igbo’s presidency is good and excellent, but to tell me that Peter OBI is the best, relatively to PBAT is not only absurd, but ridiculous.

They said the man is competent and am asking how? All the KPIs that reveal the set of competencies in leadership are far beyond the reach of Peter OBI.

He lacks the capacity to enunciate vision and the critical models to execute it, he lies with impunity, quoting dubious statistics that you cannot verify, he has no outstanding achievements to his credit and no allies or mentees that have stood up to outstandingly buttress his impact. The emotional and conflict resolution skill of Peter OBI is completely zero.

A man that cannot manage a micro political party, certainly will not be able to manage a macro, multi-ethnic, multi-religious country like Nigeria where values and beliefs are completely at variance with each other.

So….Why the noise?

… Objective reasoning has always been sacrificed for unguarded emotional support. No sane Nigerian will align with Peter Obi if objectivity is prioritized in evaluation of service performance. Obi was at best AVERAGE in Anambra; how could he be suddenly transformed into being the Messiah just by emotional trend.
