Judge Gregory H. Woods has denied most of Megan Thee Stallion and Roc Nation’s bid to dismiss Emilio Garcia’s employment lawsuit, allowing the case to move toward trial.
A jury will now decide key disputes, including Garcia’s employment status, Roc Nation’s potential liability as a joint employer, and allegations that he was retaliated against after raising concerns about unpaid compensation. Garcia’s wage, overtime, employee misclassification, retaliation, and related labor law claims will proceed to trial.
