Nash Paul Conner was born April 13, 2020, and we could not be more in love! This sweet boy has already brought us so much joy in the short amount of time he’s been here. Welcome to the Conner crew, little buddy!
It’s been a fun week in my class! Health science dissected sheep hearts to learn about the cardiovascular system and rehab careers performed ankle taping and learned about ankle bony anatomy! @RuCoCTE@OaklandRCS
Thank you to the @Titans and
@titanscommunity for their support of our program. They are a BIG reason for the growth of Girls' Flag in Tennessee! The team (& Nash) appreciated the gear! A Special shoutout to
@JoshCorey_ and @keithbremer1 Thank you again! #TitanUp
We had a fun time today in Rehab Careers learning the effects of modalities on the physiological response of tissues after injury. Modalities covered were paraffin bath, compression boots, cryotherapy, and massage therapy. @RuCoCTE@OaklandRCS@marshallj_ohs@smartin2020
2026 Oakland Flag Football Media Day was a success! Shout out to @Titans and @titanscommunity for the grant last spring that let us purchase our new @Nike “Titan Blue” uniforms! Can’t wait for the season to start! #OGirls#TitanUP#Year2
Thank you to @RuCoCTE for allowing my rehab and exercise science students to test out their new Healthcare and STEM mobile lab! We had the opportunity to take vitals on a simulated dummy and use the simulation table to help solve medical cases! @OaklandRCS
It’s been a busy few weeks in my classroom! Rehab learned to tape ankles and locate ankle anatomy, all students got CPR and First Aid Certified, and health science dissected chicken wings to look at the musculoskeletal system. @OaklandRCS
