imagine you're like 26 years old and you just graduated from clown school. the only thing on your resume is a stint running a failed covid-conscious lesbian bar in Massachusetts. after months of struggle, you finally land a job interview. do you bring iced coffee, yes or no
By the way, you could do this with any public figure.
"JK Rowling wrote books about a teenage wizard, why do we need to know what she thinks about trans people."
"John Cleese is the "Minister of Silly Walks" why do we need to know what he thinks about Muslims."
Etc.
To be clear, they do not in fact carry a cake across New York. They take an uber from Flatbush to Midtown. The cake is never on the subway and doesn't exist after the first 30 mins.
The idea that someone who was educated at a £13,343.80 a year private school, not on scholarship, is 'lower middle class' is the funniest joke Cleese has said in years.
Several of us, rather repressed and socially unskilled lower middle class boys, had literally never met someone so brash and vulgar, and I'm afraid we shrank away from her. No abuse or anything. We just kept out of her way
Recently Miriam also blamed Bill Oddie for our bad behaviour. Not fair. He wasn't in the show that year

How time flies...
@DianCathal is an American woman bragging about getting a mastectomy on the NHS under the guise of preventing breast cancer
She’s tested negative for the gene
She jokes about growing her hair so the NHS won’t realise she’s trans because she can’t comprehend women with short hair
@DianCathal@Sorelle_Arduino FYI @NHSEngland@NHSuk "If there was material deception about medical history, residency/eligibility status, or clinical facts that induced the NHS to provide free treatment the person was not entitled to." you need to check up on this asap.

@mrstomlinstan Oh yeah, and I’ve actually got a lot of supportive comments from NHS workers. The trick was, I had good reason to believe my healthcare would suffer because of anti-trans prejudice within the NHS.
@leakylike@Sorelle_Arduino@STILLTish No I offered to pay and she went, I’m gonna save you 10K. I’ve paid taxes for over a decade and entitled to free healthcare in this country. Especially after 4 BC scares
