@Chavenham yeah I am also guessing that, so scratch my second suggestion, AI is fine ahahaha it should stay this way so we can strategize. Also i think the energy armor can also stay like this. I just did not get the challenge i wanted but as you said, i am not the majority
@Chavenham Yup i finished 2 runs, and second run was a breeze with the bleed build, i actually killed most in the second run instead of capturing.
I got that but the if they move and just get captured without damage feels bad man ahahahha
Great game played for 2 hours
@MjTheHunter One very important thing is not being afraid of change. While self doubt is bad, when you have some, make a list and talk with people, and iterate.
If you dont like it you can always go back
hey, I played your game and really enjoyed it. It felt like monster train but chess, both games I enjoy. I do have a couple feedback points.
I feel like game is too capture based especially early on. I feel like most units SHOULD have some kind of armor to make dealing damage with the units and spells more effective. Most of the time instead of taking down the hp, capturing is easier and more effective.
Also I know this is very difficult but AI sometimes does moves so bad it takes me out of the `i am winning i am so smart` and puts me into `this AI is so dumb`
Other than that, great looking game, good formula, very smooth and enjoyable. Will be a purchase on release!@
@RetroSpaceGame Save scumming is lowkey cheating
Cheating in a single player game is the players choice
Cheating does take away from the experience of the player, but its their decision to make
Very similar thing happened to me.
I still play and enjoy them but now I look at UI, sound and tempo just like you. I also try to play more games. I used to only play games that i was sure i liked and would finish. Now I play a lot of games for 1-5 hours, enjoy them and also learn from them
Concept is what motivates you to start developing and catches the eye of the players at first, visuals are what catches the players eyes second and the most, those 2 combined makes you sell and market the game easier.
But i feel the the best thing is gameplay, which is what we focus at dicehit as well. Because good gameplay is what makes the player stay, be happy with the purchase and talk about the game
I think this post is valid but a there are a couple cases AND its still a personal issue.
If the game does not promise what it said, if it doesnt work on your pc well, if it hurts your eyes ears or give you any other problem or if you just did not enjoy it in the first 15-20 minutes i think its still fine to refund.
I think the petty way of refunding is playing a game which costs less than 15 for 2 hours, enjoying it and quitting it just to refund. That is the thing that is legal but isnt ethical imo
Hello, thanks for all the feedback will go 1 by 1
yeah we know that some artifacts are very powerfull and some are not, same with cards and mechanics, we will try to balance these out as game goes on, both in demo and early access. I have my eye on the grow mechanic especially
With the firepower defense option, that is my main problem. Should i make the enemies deal more damage and buff all the defensive options so the players will choose them more? but will that kill glass cannon builds, i dont want that
ALSO your idea of showing grow on card seperately is great! I love it and we will implement it when we find time
i hope you enjoyed the game and thanks for playing. If you would drop a review on the demo page if you liked it, it helps
@IvyHoneyFig@not__vee Hi, I am one of the small devs and this is okay FOR STEAM TO ALLOW.
Players arent dumb, they are not going to buy a game for that much when it looks like that. Even if some do, they will refund in the first 2 hours and steam algorithm will do its thing.
