I feel this when I lost my Instagram account. It was like a collection of memories that are just going on all the connections that I had messages waiting in my inbox, etc. just disappeared. Instagram is dog shit right now.
I paid $650 for Meta’s monthly subscription in the hope of receiving real support, yet I still have not received any meaningful help.
Absolutely insane that @Meta can disable a 12-year-old verified Instagram account with over 200,000 followers overnight — without one clear explanation and without giving me a real chance to appeal.
My account @tinakriisss was not just social media. It was my portfolio, my business, my contact with clients and brands, and the place where I had active paid campaigns and contracts waiting to be published.
I submitted my passport and selfie because Meta asked me to verify my identity. One of my accounts was restored, while my actual main verified account was permanently disabled for “integrity.”
What exactly did I violate?
For days, support has only repeated that my case is “in progress,” while my income, reputation and contractual obligations are at risk.
A trillion-dollar company should not be able to erase someone’s entire business with one automated decision and then provide no real human support.
I am asking for one thing: a genuine human review of @tinakriisss.
