Few months ago Oromia regional government in person of Mr.Shimelles Abdisa donate 25 million birr to Fassil Football club of Gondar; today the same government budgeted almost the same amount of money(30million) for Borana people in crisis of drought.

There is little prospect for a mediated/negotiated settlement in Tigray conflict at this stage. Both sides believe they can prevail. Compromise seen as weakness. Most importantly, there is no public, civil society pressure to end to war
