How many times do we need to see him blindly flip the puck out the zone right to the other team? Or just shoot it up the boards blindly? When George got called up 2 season ago, he was better than mayfield

@IslesGirl3 No way is this steep.. it only looks that way because of the contracts he's coming off from. He would have been one of the top rh defenseman available July 1.. at age 30 he probably left term on the table by signing for only 2 years.

@stefen_rosner Isles have to hope like hell that Cullen is there. We only have two dynamic players that can create there own space (Schaeffer and Barzal) so it would be nice to have a third.

@stefen_rosner @TheElmonters We need to stop with the he scored 20 goal thing. Jonathan cheechoo scored 56 & a few years later was out of the league because of his foot speed. Lee played top 6 minut and only had 10 takeaways in 82 game. He was never fast or quick but last year the slow down was 2 obvious

@stefen_rosner I dont get the big deal of signing him to a 2 or 3 year deal . We have zero rh D prospects. By the time we develop any, his contract will be up. He's easily a 4 million dollar player.. we all saw how even worse we were towards the end of the year without him.

@stefen_rosner @TheElmonters I don't know why so many seem to imply DeAngelo at 30 is old and not worth extending for a few years. If they upgrade the right side, i much rather have him as the 3rd pair rh defenseman for 3 to 4 years than see Mayfield in the line up

@stefen_rosner @TheElmonters I like Ryan Lin a lot but drafting for need is a huge mistake. Drafting and developing a more skilled prospect is always the way to go. That trade chip is more valuable
