Michael Jordan is the ONLY player in NBA history to accomplish this in a season:
- MVP
- Scoring Title
- 1st Team All-Defense
- Championship
- Finals MVP
He did it 4 different times.
One of the craziest Michael Jordan stories ever:
“Nick Anderson said 45 is not 23. Coming on the court I see 23, I said I know we’re in trouble. Jordan had 2 free throws at the end of the game, he missed the 2nd on purpose. He left 45 on the scoreboard”
I’m not saying he’ll hit those 3s in year 1.
But he clearly is capable of it. As he develops, there’s nothing stopping him from adding that to his package.
All that plus elite defender & super athletic
His ceiling is the stars.
Caleb Wilson is the steal of the draft & will go #1 in a redraft in 5 years.
THEY said he can’t shoot.
Yet he averaged 3.2 3pt FG per game (42% 3pt FG) in Summer League.
Most of those 3s were Durant like pull-up in transition or step back 3s.
Oh but he’s still hyper athletic
Kendall Gill is a very realistic Stacey King replacement per Sun-Times.
He’s already part of the network. Bulls fans are familiar with Gill and a lot of them prefer he takes over.
Noa Essengue has struggled tremendously in the summer league.
Typically former lottery picks sophomores tend to stand out. Noa has done the opposite.
In fact he went from starting to now being the 8th man off the bench.
Noa’s Summer League average: 6.5 PPG & 4.5 RPG
