My sister’s other best friend, her dad works in Texas. His precinct is raising money for the family of the other best friend who took her life. There is also a go fund me page set up for the boys

@chaneequa We’re all just in a holding pattern. I spent most of the day with her and my nieces. Also they have brought the kids and husband into their home for the time being.

@jelam1 My sister and brother in law took in the 4 boys and the boyfriend for the time being. I spent most of the day there for her and for them. The father of the boys basically fell into my arms and I thought he would never let go of the hug. Let him know we are all there for them

Mental health needs to really be more out there than it is. And suicide awareness! My sister’s best friend just shot herself in front of her boyfriend and kids. If you need help, please reach out to someone.

@DieselSuits We definitely need to "normalize" it being "okay" for people to feel like they can admit that they're not okay.

It took me 39+ years to realize it was okay for me to not be able to do it all myself, to not be HAVE to fix my mental dilemmas alone.
