Applying to crown molding on houses would kill the mosquitos that landed there and kept it out of reached of people and pets.

Sending giant vapor clouds of it through entire neighborhoods was not safe.

Employers don't fire people when they discover they're straight, kids don't get kicked out of their homes for being straight.

In their original post they talked about it being impossible to have POC at their table. This is simply not true. There were POC in the show who tried to address issues of racism, but were harmed by it:
