I've created a short animation about lockdown and tomorrow's anticipated opening up of our hearts, minds and... pubs!

The patron saint of Ireland was British. ๐ฎ๐ชโ๏ธ๐ฌ๐ง
Born in Roman Britain. Around 385 AD. His father was a decurion, a Roman local official.
At 16, Irish raiders kidnapped him. Along with thousands of others.
He was enslaved for six years. A shepherd. Alone on the hills of Ireland.
He escaped. Found a ship. Made it home to Britain.
Then around 432 AD, he went back. Voluntarily. To the land that enslaved him.
Not for revenge.
He spent the rest of his life there. Building churches. Teaching. Baptising. Forgiving.
He never came home.
His own words survive. The Confessio. One of the oldest personal documents in European history. Written by a British man in Ireland, fifteen hundred years ago.
"I am a sinner. A simple country person."
"I never had any reason to return. Except the Gospel and its promises."
Happy St Patrick's Day. ๐ฌ๐งโ๏ธ

@HedgehogCabin @gunsnrosesgirl3 Science Girl should know this.
A few months ago this account shared another similar hedgeghog post. I asked them to do the right thing (we follow each other) and they deleted the post.
But now this? Please do the right thing again Science Girl, thank you.
@doctorhelgi What I find peculiar is that, according to polls, the vast majority of public support assisted dying.
But not here on X. Not on my feed anyway. Literally none 3,500 followers have liked a single one of my many pro assisted dying posts on this.
Proves X isn't the real world.
@kesleeman Sure.
1. This poster doesn't glamourise suicide.
2. The person in this poster is real. She has terminal cancer and is allergic to pain killers.
As the logo says, she can *choose* when to die and thus LIVE without fear.
Is she not allowed to express that joy?
@Artemisfornow Calm down. This is a real person, Sophie. She is terminally ill and is exceptionally brave.
She's allergic to pain killers and, for her, assisted dying means she could live without fear.
Find out about her touching story by looking at her twitter page here: @sophieRblake
At #YewView, we have a wildlife pond and the kingfisher is visiting regularly. Sometimes, he uses this perch when he has caught something. The snow was the icing on the cake, to really highlight the beauty of this bird!๐๐ฅฐ
@ChristianCull@godblesstoto@PrivateEyeNews They'd be ashamed that, rather than 'sticking it to the man', they're 'sticking it to' a female journalist and deliberately only telling half the story.
I venture that wasn't Ingrams' and Rushton's style.
And this is why Iโm so passionately campaigning for the assisted dying Bill. Terminally ill people deserve the right to choose a peaceful, safe and compassionate death when the times comes. It will bring comfort and peace of mind whilst living with these devastating diseases
