@ZaidJilani For every “transgender person” — at least in blue states — there are countless women and girls who have unwillingly shared bathrooms/locker rooms with him. Voters deeply care about this because it ignites a protective love for their families like few other issues can.
@ZaidJilani Maybe it’s just me but “He inherited the family business” just doesn’t seem like a bad hit. Like, yeah, people tend to do that with their families. Doesn’t make him Sam Walton but also doesn’t make him Billy Madison.
@earlyvotedata Should save the RGA a few dollars for other states, if we’re looking for a silver lining! The Steve Daines “find candidates who can self-fund campaigns” method worked out, like, perfectly in 2024.
Reminder that if Biggs and Jackson/Jones win the AZ and GA gov races, that automatically takes Kelly, Ossoff, Warnock and Gallego off the board for 2028, both for prez and VP.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth tried to brand Sen. Mark Kelly as “seditious” and moved to strip him of his military rank.
It hasn't worked out that way.

@AustinHoney30 …. By offering their condolences, condemning political violence and, understandably, considering the killer’s “No Kings” literature in his car and his claim that Walz put him up to it as evidence he was a leftist?
(W/ the exception of Mike Lee)
@TheCalvinCooli1 I’m a Jones guy but the silver lining of Rick Jackson winning is that it opens the possibility of Jones running for Senate in 2028 should Kemp once again pass.
@admcrlsn It’s all a name recognition thing for now. Craig has shown an ability to create broad appeal in her district. The big question is who gets higher unfavorables once they get “defined” in the GE. Probably Flanagan, if — big if — the GOP can successfully associate her with fraud.
@CinemaTweets1 *describes the movie as the work of a perfectionist*
*shows the scene with the extremely noticeable and hilarious background continuity error*
@tylerbowyer This was the big “if” for the midterms. Major step toward John Sununu, Mike Rogers, Ashley Hinson, Michael Whatley, Michele Tafoya, Ken Paxton and Mike Collins/Derek Dooley joining Jon Husted, Susan Collins, and Dan Sullivan in the Senate in January. Let’s go!
Breaking: The final day surprise candidacy that never happened. @Edelblut4NH seriously explored running for State Sen. Dist. 11 Friday, but only if incumbent Sen. Tim McGough, R-Merrimack, first withdrew. He did not so it's a rematch with @shannonchandley in Nov. #nhpolitics
@9mmsmg Where were all the “primary Cornyn” people when it came to this? Unlike TX, which is arguably a closer race now due to Paxton’s nomination, SC is a safe red state. Graham had a primary challenger. And there was almost no national attention.
70 years from now, Austin Metcalf should be sitting with his great-grandchildren on his lap, surrounded by family, laughing and telling stories.
But he won’t grow old. He didn’t make it to adulthood. His life ended because Karmelo Anthony felt disrespected.
Life. Nothing less.
@tylerbowyer While we’re upgrading NV-02, does Turning Point have an eye toward any 2028 Senate candidates? Lombardo, Anthony, Carrie Buck (if, sadly, she comes up short this year), Laxalt, and Brown are on 👉🏻this guy’s 👈🏻 watchlist.
@tylerbowyer Flippo will be the solid, thumb-on-the-pulse fighter for whom the Nevada GOP has spent years searching. NV-02 is just the beginning for him.
@RyanGirdusky TBH, a Dem-led House would be better for GOP 2028 prospects than a GOP House. GOP control has been incredibly, infuriatingly disappointing to everybody. A little time to forget how bad House Rs are at legislating + remembering how bad Dem control is = President Vance?
