How are folding phones doing at the moment? Are they still creasing after regular daily use? Is there a model that really stands out and would be nice to have for development purposes?

@VasiliyZukanov Is tedious and adds another layer of understanding to Compose that wasn’t there with XML + Views. Also modifiers can be a bit tricky especially with the order of modifiers having huge effects on the final rendering. With all that said I’d still prefer Compose at the moment 🤷‍♂️

@VasiliyZukanov I did learn Compose for my next professional engagements and honestly I enjoyed it a lot more in terms of, you have one file, this is your view, this is the data you pass in and that’s it. With that said, I do agree that having to think about recomposition… cont’d

If I build a personal flutter app, is there any way I can deploy the app to my personal device (iPhone) without having to launch to the store or using test flight?

Attended FFDC/Fluttercon/Droidcon last week. Got to see really cool tech all around. Great updates coming to FF 5.0 this week 👀. Also Pieces for developers is being slept on, it’s like Cursor but way better.

Overall really happy to experience a proper developer conference!

@albemala @peteralexbizjak Are there any fees you’ve had to pay for hosting so far? Looking to host my own portfolio site and most likely going to use firebase for this, but was interested in how the pricing would work out. I know firebase can be very generous with rates for smaller projects, just curious
