@NotDavidXander I agree that its a pop song, but it draws more influence from R&B (like most of her debut album), than the upbeat teen bubblegum formula of the 90s. Its has a slower molotic melody that breaks from the cookie cutter offerings traditionally associated with bubblegum pop.
