🏥 Rural Health Management Information System (RHMIS)
An ICT-based system to support the collection, storage and analysis of rural health data, in collaboration with C-DAC, Thiruvananthapuram.
With handheld data collection, a centralised database, alerts and reports, RHMIS enabled timely health data collection, reduced manual record-keeping and supported better planning, monitoring and decision-making.
The system supported health workers, rural communities and health authorities.

The Information Technology Research Academy (ITRA), an initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and implemented by Digital India Corporation (DIC), was conceived to strengthen ICT & Electronics R&D through a collaborative research model.
ITRA brought together institutions, researchers, mentors and industry to address nationally relevant challenges across mobile technologies, healthcare, transportation, disaster management and water-related solutions.
Its collaborative ecosystem included 62 research groups/institutions, 106 faculty & researchers, 136 research students & fellows, and 43 eminent researchers & industry translators.
Its contributions included 498 publications, 12 patents filed, 103 collaborating organisations, 25 services & solutions, 21 prototype technologies and 3 startups.
From Research → Prototype → Technology Transfer → Entrepreneurship → Societal Impact, ITRA helped take research beyond academia towards real-world applications.
