Senior Director, Data & Technology Product Strategy @HearstUK. @LSEManagement Alumnus. Tweets are mostly live commentary on whatever I think/do at that moment.
@GetDaysApp Hi, any chance you know why photos I’ve saved to camera roll from Google are not appearing in the app for me to select as a background? Thanks in advance.
@elonmusk Thanks @elonmusk … glad youve kicked Twitter into gear and working on an idea I sent to Jack and others just over 4 years ago.

Imagine a social platform where users post in native languages and the platform automatically translates the posts into the viewers native language. @Twitter@jack Let’s remove the language barrier that prevents truly global communication and knowledge/information sharing!
Disappointed in The @Telegraph. As a sign of respect, they couldn’t even put down their subscription wall for people wanting to read content on HMQE2. Working in the publishing industry, this was the first decision we made; sacrificing revenue to enable access to this content.
These letters of resignation vs one I once received that was 9 words in an email and another that still had the watermark from the online template provider the doc was downloaded from.

Huge congratulations are due to our head of D&A @digitalKrishan and paid search director, Abbie Dunne who were named on the inaugural @PMarketingW 30 Under 30 list🏆
This is an incredibly well-deserved achievement that further recognises their consistent and outstanding work!
Anyone experienced this?
I had someone call me this morning saying that they had a missed call from my number on their phone (a number I hadn’t dialled).
And just now I missed call from a number, which when I then called back, the person said they hadn’t rang me.
🤷🏽♂️
Drive 160miles from Cardiff back to St Albans this afternoon. Got home, sat on the sofa and literally no more than 10mins had passed before a power cut to the whole of St Albans. No power or mobile signal for just over 1hr. Not ideal!
@DodoNerd Ah no way! Welcome to St Albans! I signed up to UK Power text updates (when I got out of St Albans) and it said it was AL1-AL5, affecting “several thousand properties”. Driving through town with no lights/traffic lights felt post-apocalyptic!
And yet here I am, another 20 miles back to St Albans, I’m home, with 4G signal, wifi, and lighting, using the internet to tweet about my horrific ordeal. Clearly not ready to embrace a life without digital/tech.
What have I learnt from this experience..
1) I need to buy a battery powered torch 🔦
2) I need to keep some form of non-digital entertainment (yes, I have books but I had no form of lighting)
3) I should have taken the time to embrace the switch off and disconnect!
