#JSA's #GreenLantern: Green Lantern Alan Scott committed to⚖️#JusticeSociety of America 🇺🇸, despite "retcon" in new GL #1. GL Alan Scott first appeared with JSA in Winter All-Star Comics #3 (December 1940), fought against Nazis in ASC #4 (March 1941) /1

#JSA#JusticeSociety of America- May 1976-48 Years ago #AllStarComics #60-with⚖️ heroine #PowerGirl in classic race with The #Flash Jay Garrick. With current version of JSA's Power Girl being paraded in extreme garb, wearing Superman logo.. reminder of past Power Girl with JSA.
.@YanickPaquette has a very distinct "style," which we see with #PowerGirl. Hope someday in 21st century, comics heroines can be drawn with dignity that most comics heroines got during the #GoldenAgeComics. BTW not a prude by any means, but respect a diverse audience of readers.
But of course #GoldenAge fans of the original #JSA absolutely know the greatest redemption stories of them all, enabling them to be heroes in society. All Star Comics #27, was that in each case, there was intimate story of hero and struggling child with a heart for #Justice. ⚖️
#JSA#NewGoldenAge - an interesting take on #Huntress and multiple dimension/timelines of #JusticeSociety of America, which I felt came to a natural conclusion in issue #5, which was a clear and natural ending point as the JSAs from multiple times defeat time tyrant Degaton

Johns' second part of the series is about the worthy concept of redemption, which is a deep and complex topic, difficult to do a group storyline, and more effective in a solitary or limited character storyline. But the sci-fi structure is now the focus of remaining issues.
You would not recognize the ❤️of the #GoldenAge#Batman in so many modern re-interpretations. But if even the Batman could accept redemption, surely it is something that all heroes and heroines could accept. Just hard to do such an intimate narrative in a crowd of JSA characters.
With irony of modern times, Batman series over times and even Spectre gave platforms for redemption storyline narratives, with 1945 awe inspiring #Earth2 speech by #GoldenAge#Batman #28 (April 4, 1945). We needed this in second part of JSA. Heart. ❤️ Sometimes we need speeches.
@blaksheepno1 Happy Birthday to the GOAT of #DCComics, and the superteam creators, the one and only Gardner Fox... truly a man from another age altogether.
Happy heavenly birthday to the Golden Age "Flash," "Sandman," "Hawkman," "Dr. Fate," "Starman," "Justice Society Of America" Silver Age "Atom," "Batgirl" and "Justice League Of America" co-creator, the immortal Gardner Fox.

#FlashbackFriday : Published this month in 1978, All-Star Comics #71 featured the Huntress fighting alongside the JSA in "The Deadliest Game In Town!" by Paul Levitz, Joe Staton, and yours truly. @DC#JSA
#WonderWoman for UNITY and #Justice ⚖️. Reminder that Wonder Woman of the #JSA was not a character for division and hate, despite #TomKing's current version: a total reversal of the concept of Wonder Woman as a uniter against injustice -Ageism, Racism, Gender Hate, Religious Hate
@JustCallMeKlang I enjoyed the Sandman story the best, and it reminded me of the Dr. Death story elsewhere, the mad scientist criminal stories were always compelling. But the art in the Hawkman and Doctor Fate is so much above the rest of the issue. The one image of Hawkman beginning his story...
