Today is World Hepatitis Day.
This year's theme is "Hepatitis: Let's Break It Down" and honestly, that's exactly what needs to happen. We have vaccines. We have tests. We have cures for hepatitis C and treatments that let people with hepatitis B live long, full lives. The science isn't the problem.
The problem is everything standing in the way like stigma, cost, fear, not knowing where to go, or just not knowing you're infected at all. Hepatitis doesn't announce itself. It can sit quietly in your liver for years while you feel completely fine, until suddenly it's cirrhosis or liver cancer.
That's the scary part. Someone could be walking around right now, living normally, with no clue their liver is under attack.
So today, do something small:
✅Get tested. It's quick and it could save your life.
✅If you haven't taken the hep B vaccine, go take it.
✅Talk about it. Stop treating it like something shameful.
You people should stop that eye attitude:
Why will you post something and say deleting in 30mins or 1hr.
Like we care. If you don't want use to see it, don't post, if you want to post, post and leave it. Even if you want to delete, we don't need that comment.
The greatest gift in life
Is the gift of sound health.
If you're not fighting for your health in anyway, if you see this: use 30secs and say Thank you God.
