@Forbes Allow those same companies to assume unlimited liability for any possible side effects of the vaccine, then. If it’s highly safe and effective, they should have no objections, right?
@peterjomalley@jeromebennett2@CNN Pent-up demand will outweigh the (diminishing) fear of COVID. I’m pretty sure people were scared for their lives during the Swine Flu back in ‘09, but have since moved on with their lives…
@nbc6 As much as I’m in favor of banning vaccine passports, this isn’t the hill for DeSantis to die on. Most passengers will probably plan on being vaccinated, if they wish to disembark in various countries during their trip.
@Frank_qwerty@wsvn Most people on the cruise ships are going to be vaccinated, especially if they plan on disembarking in foreign ports that require proof of vaccinations. As for requiring proof of vaccination while embarking from Florida? A $5k fine per passenger will not bode well for them…
@WPBF25News The CDC sidelined the cruise industry, what the CEO says after the fact makes little difference at this point… Political theater at it’s finest
@JacobKishnevi@micas0208@MayorDaniella Cutting out FL ports will drastically reduce their revenues. Very few people will leave the mainland to get on a cruise.. the CDC basically sidelined the cruise industry anyway.
