I'll mostly be hanging out on Instagram and Bluesky from now on. I love this creative, supportive literary corner of the Twitterverse, just not Twitter as a whole. You can follow me on https://t.co/AkNJ4miXHi and/or https://t.co/As5PUKBvjO
Congrats to all included in Best Microfiction '26!
Below are the journals with more than 1 mention.
Special congrats to Pictura Journal, @OneArtPoetry1, Hot Flash Literary, RAWHEAD, @wildroofjournal, @101words, @HooghlyReview who will now be included in my ranking next year!
The thing with writing is that, no matter your publications so far, with each piece you start all over with a blank page and the exact same doubts: will anyone actually like / want to read this?
Delighted to be part of Poetry in the Park. Such a wonderful idea. If you're Cork in the next month, see if you can spot some verse. I hear Gerry O' Sullivan Park might be a good spot 😉🌳. Big thanks to @HowlWriting and @poetryireland for making this happen.
Thank you so much to the editors at #Rust+Moth, not only for publishing "Elegy" in their 2024 spring issue, but also for nominating it for a #pushcart prize. I'm deeply touched and honoured, and I'll be crossing my fingers and toes for all the nominated poets.
I owe a huge debt of gratitude to everyone at @PassengersPress. I was a very green poet with only a couple of published poems under my belt when they took me on as a reader. Goodbyes are always bittersweet, but happy pub day and thank you to everyone in the winter issue!
It’s official. Our last and final Issue of Passengers Journal is live.
To our readers, staff, and contributors: your endless love and support for our mission means more to us than you could ever imagine. Thank you 🖤
Happy reading and listening 🤍: https://t.co/GvuC9AOGzV
The parentified daughter becoming the adult with an autoimmune disease is a missing link in health. A lifetime of carrying everyone else’s burdens will always show up in the body.
@Avidbookjunkie Only a minute number of books get published. Finishing a book is an accomplishment in itself. You can run without winning races, play guitar but not be in a band, cook without working as a chef. Write for yourself, because you love it. You might just surprise yourself.
Is anyone else writing poems with absolutely no assurance they will ever be read or wanted? Could we give each other a shout out here just to say there's a road ahead? 🚦
Thank you again to the lovely folks @Passionfruitlit for publishing, "still lives," my first reverse/palindrome poem! Note: it has a ramp-on title, so please read "still lives" as the first line of the poem (and since it's a palindrome, also as the last line.)
